Springfield - Lawrence "Larry" Edward Bartlett, 57, of Springfield died Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at St. John's Hospital.

He was born April 16, 1943, in Springfield, the son of Robert S. and Mary C. Markey Bartlett.

Mr. Bartlett retired from Cutler-Hammer and Eaton Corp. in 1999 after 32 years of service.  He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 364 and belonged to several bowling leagues.

Survivors: four brothers, Robert J. (wife, Gloria), James T. (wife, Nancy), Edward F. (wife, Karen) and Donald Bartlett, all of Springfield, seven sisters, Mary (husband, Robert) Council, Helen Patterson, Patricia Heine, Donna Bartlett, Alice (husband, Charles) Paoni, Nancy Dean and Judy (husband, Robert) Bolton, all of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Mass, St. Aloysius Catholic Church, the Rev. John Titus officiating.  Burial:  Calvary Cemetery.
