Lincoln - Spencer L. Goff, 61, of Lincoln died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, in the emergency room at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

He was born Aug. 29, 1942, in Springfield, the son of Virgil C. Sr. and Freda Kamees Goff.  He married Mickey L. Goetsch in 1977 in Springfield.

Mr. Goff graduated from Lanphier High School.  He attended the American Laundry Institute and Chicago Culinary School.  He retired as the owner and president of Goff Linen Co.  He also worked at Superior Linen Co. in Las Vegas.  He was a dairy farmer.

Survivors: wife, Mickey L.; three sons, Spencer A., Miochel A. (wife, Julie) and Donald L. (wirfe, Melissa) Goff, all of Sprinfield,; a daughter, Denise A. (husband, James) Risinger of Mackinaw; 11 grandchildren; and three sisters, Jolene (husband, James Sr.) McCarty, Betty (husband, Ralph) Young and Wanda (husband, Gerald) Overby, all of Springfield.
