James W. Bartlett

Springfield - James "Jim" W. Bartlett, 64, of Springfield died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, at St. John's Hospice.

He was born March 3, 1943 in Springfield, the son of James W. and Elfreida Roberts Bartlett Sr.  His father; two stepbrothers, Gene and Jesse Blair; and step-father, Merl Blair, preceded him in death.

Mr. Bartlett was employed at McFarland Zone Center for 27 years.  He was of the Christian faith.  He was a member of the World Wide Kennel Club and raised Yorkie and Maltese dogs.  He was a graduate of Lanphier High School.

Surviving are his mother, Elfreida Blair of Springfield; sister, Dorothy (husband, Alfred) Fagg of Springfield; stepsister, Bonnie Bambrough of Springfield; stepbrother, Alan (wife, Mary Ann) Blair of Sherman; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services at Staab Funeral Home, with Dr. Bob Armstrong officiating.  Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.  Memorials to Living Water Church or American Cancer Society.
