Rosalyn Bubbels (Bradley)

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Rosalyn A. Bradley, 71, died at 10:20 p.m., Friday, Feb. 14, 2014. She was born Feb. 13, 1943, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Adam and Teresa Sponsky Bubbels. She married Dick Bradley. Her husband and parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her sister, Adalma Stevens of Yorkville; one nephew, Michael Stevens of Springfield; two nieces, Tia (Rob) Brown of Joliet and Robin Stevens of Springfield; great-nieces and great-nephews, Adam Stevens, Anthony Brown, Michael Brown, Josh Rollins and Amanda Rollins. Rosalyn worked as an auditor for the IRS and the U.S. Dept. of Labor. She loved caring for her dogs, Muffin, Molly and Daisy. Visitation: noon – 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Staab Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. Jeff Grant officiating. Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Animal Protective League, Illinois Humane Society or The Diabetes Foundation.

Rosalyn and i went to a few basketball games at the armory together! Still that pretty smile!

Rosalyn was a sweet, kind, loving person. We became reacquainted at the 45th reunion and continued our friendship. I will miss her, even from a distance.
