So sad to hear about Ken.  I went through grade school at Enos and then on to Lanphier High Schoolwith him.  He was a very nice person.  Met up with him years later accidently with Veronica and was happy to hear that he had a successful life and was happily married to Veronica.  Condolences to his family. I remember Ken, though I didn't really know him. I'm amazed at how much we learn of those who have passed through obituraries and attending funeral services. Even those I have known here in CA, I learn so much more after thier passing. Thank you all so much for keeping us informed. Though it is a sad moment, it is also a joy to learn about them.

Can still see the Redhead hitting a jumper from the corner. No doubt he lived life to the fullest.

I remember walking to Enos as we picked up school mates along the way and Kenny was one of the group.  He was a great guy and I am sure his family will miss him.  So long ARROW I hope there is a basketball court in Heaven for you.

I remember Kenny & our friends in scouting & campouts, especially Colorado Jamboree 1960 with Rich Meyer, Scotty Cull, & I and backpacking around Philmont Ranch in New Mexico mountains.

Basketball at Enos outside courts rain, snow, & 100 degree heat for several years.

Riding in the '39 with the boys on summer nights meeting the girls, going to bowling, batting cage, miniature golf, trampolines, around the lake, 66 Drive In and to the Icy & Russell's.

Early morning rabbit hunting in Athens & trap shooting at N.R.A.

We all had so much fun with Kenny. We will all miss him.

But, we need to celebrate about the 'good ole times of youth'.

And. Condolences to all Kenny's family & friends.

"Red Head" was truly one of a kind. Big man, scrappy and tough with a big heart. We went through cub and boy scouts, grade school at Enos and then later at Lanphier. "Arrow" was the last player to make our sophmore basketball team and through hard work and determination, we voted him the most valuable player our senior year. He was extremely proud of that and I noticed the State Journal Register article was displayed prominently by his casket. Later we were teammates again in the springfield recreational league and had some great times on and off the court.

I will miss his friendship and his great laugh. He is in a better place now and the pain and suffering are over.
