Mrs. Arlene P. Lamkins, 41 of 1702 N. 22nd St. died at 8:31 a.m. Friday, October 19, 1984 at her home.

She was born in Springfield, the daughter of Orville and Betty Alewelt Greene. She was a lifelong resident and for the past nine years was employed by the Secretary of State.

Mrs Lamkins married William Dale Lamkins in 1982.

Surviving are her husband, William Dale; two daughters, Mrs. John (Christine) Snow and Miss Cynthia Fernandez, both of Springfield; one son Lawrence Fernandez of Springfield; her father, Orville of Springfield; one sister, Miss Carol Greene of Seattle, Wash.; three half-brothers, Danny Greene of Mechanicsburg, David Greene of Mount Auburn and Dale Greene of Mount Vernon; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 9a.m. Monday at Staab Funeral Home, with Dr. Charles Hendricks officiating. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
