I knew Vince before High School.  Vince lived on Third Street and I had a paper route on Third Street.  Vince went to St. Joseph's Grade School and I went to Trinity Lutheran Grade School.  One day while in the eighth grade I was asked to leave school early, (whole different story-wasn't my fault!) and I had to walk home.  From Governor and McArthur to Eighth and Keys.  I got to St. Joseph's just before school let out and Vince was on patrol at the corner of 6th and Eastman.  I knew that Vince would give you the shirt off his back if you asked.  Ya, I asked him for a cigarette and he gave me a Pall Mall.  I ain't making this up, it's true!

It was great to see Vince at the monthly Fulgenzi's meetings he was able to attend.  Vince was a great guy.  Everyone liked Vince.

I attended St Joseph's Grade School with Vince and luckily he came to Edison and Lanphier when I did.  It was great to have a few old friends from grade school since we really didn't know many people.

Vince was always very polite and friendly and would do anything to help someone.  He did have a sense of humor though and was involved in a lot of truly funny pranks.

He was one of a kind and he is missed.

I went to Grade School with Vincent at St. Joseph's and he was a quiet, nice boy then and grew into a very nice young man in high school.  I was sorry to hear of his passing.  I'm sure he will be missed greatly by family and friends.

I knew Vince well, we were good friends at one time we were boyfriend & girlfriend ,thats how it was stated in those yrs.  I went st Josephs 5th& 6th grade.  One time at the Pantheon we were at the show together and kissed, now I kind of chuckle at that,it was such a big thing then. WOW how things have changed!  He was a gentle & kind person.   Paula King
