One of the memories I have of our senior year was the assembly we had when Jon sang the song "The Wayward Wind". Over the years whenever I have heard that song, made famous by Gogi Grant, Tex Ritter and others, I have immediately thought of Jon and his performance during that assembly. I can still see him standing on the stage in front of the micro-phone with his guitar strapped over his shoulder singing that song.
