Albuquerque, NM. - Juanita L. Persons 31, of Albuquerque, NM. died July 2, 1975 at Bataan Memorial Hospital, Albuquerque, NM.
Her father, Keith G Piper preceded her in death in 1974. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, Albuquerque.
Surviving are her husband, Richard E.; her mother, Mrs. Kathleen Piper; one sister, Mrs. Pamela Strode of Springfield; Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Juanita and I went to Enos School and on to Lanphier High School. Juanita was a very nice classmate and remember a lot of good times with her. After highschool, we lost touch, but I still remember her with fondness.

Nita and I became friends at age 12, and stayed friends until after high school when she and another friend of hers moved to Denver. There she met Dick Persons and got married and we seldom kept in touch. We did go to the 10th reunion (she and Dick, Bob and I). We spent a lot of time hanging out together - I lived by the fairgrounds and she lived on Daniels - and we WALKED to each other's house. And, we loved dancing together during lunch break at Lanphier. Nita was a sweet, big-hearted person that died way too soon....
