All through grade school, high school and after graduation, Bobbi Jo was one of my best friends. She had a fellow who was "head over heals" in love with her and she ended up marrying Larry Watkins. They had a very good marriage, but she had cancer and died way too young. She had two very nice children and they were left motherless at a very early age.
My deepest regret is when I found out she was ill, I did not go to the hospital to see her because I was afraid to. She died July 14, 1976 and it was very hard on me. To this day, I still think of her with fond memories.
Bobbi Jo had a very nice Mother and we stayed in touch for a few years and I see her two brothers periodically.
Bobbi Jo and I loved roller skating and had a lot of memories from Moonlight Gardens.
At our 45th Class Reunion, I took a balloon in memory of Barbara Mills Watkins! I think of her often.
