Decatur - Harry Louis Atkinson, 27, of Decatur, formerly of Springfield, died Monday June 29, 1970 at the Decatur Memorial Hospital.

He had been employed by the Leader Iron Works Inc. for the past six years.  Mr. Atkinson was a graduate of Lanphier High School and had served with the U. S. Navy.

Surviving are his wife, Lorraine; one step-son, Gregory Toberman of Fillmore; mother, Mrs. Pearl E. Atkinson of Springfield; two half-brothers, Gerald Casper of Chicago and Phillip Casper of New Orleans, La.; and one sister, Mrs. Jane Bill of Rantoul
